Why we exist
For a long time, church software has meant one of two things: a spreadsheet held together with hope, or an enterprise platform priced and shaped for an IT department most churches simply don't have.
Neither fits the way a church really works. The person running Sunday is rarely a systems administrator. More often they're a pastor, a part-time coordinator, or the one volunteer who's good with computers, doing real ministry rather than managing a database.
We started WayHouse to close that gap: one workspace for members, giving, communication, and your online presence. Simple enough for a single volunteer to run, and generous enough that a church plant can start for free.

Every screen assumes you came to do ministry, not to learn software. If a feature needs a thirty-page manual, we treat the design as broken, never your understanding of it.

Small churches and new plants get a real, working product at no cost. Not a crippled trial, not a countdown to a paywall. The free plan is one we'd happily run a church on ourselves.

We add features slowly and remove them often. Fewer things done well beats a dashboard that does everything and explains nothing. Restraint isn't a limitation here. It's the point.
