Terms of service

Effective: July 14, 2026

These Terms govern the use of WayHouse, a church-management workspace operated by WayHouse, Inc. (“WayHouse,” “we,” “us”). The agreement is between WayHouse and the church or organization that creates a workspace (“you,” the “organization”) — not with individual congregation members, who use the product under the organization’s account. By creating a workspace, an authorized representative of the organization agrees to these Terms on its behalf.

Your account

You’re responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your workspace. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the church or organization you’re signing up.

Your congregation’s data

You’re responsible for having a lawful basis and, where needed, the consent to upload and store your members’ personal information — names, contact details, prayer requests, attendance, and similar records — in WayHouse. You control that data; we process it on your behalf. See our privacy policy for how it’s handled.

Acceptable use

Don’t use WayHouse to send spam or unsolicited bulk email, harass anyone, infringe someone’s rights, distribute malware, or break the law. We may suspend or restrict a workspace that violates these rules.

Plans and billing

WayHouse offers a Free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, with no long-term contract — you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We don’t offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law or at our discretion; contact us if something’s gone wrong and we’ll work it out.

Service availability

We work to keep WayHouse fast and reliable, but on self-serve plans the service is provided on a best-effort basis, without an uptime service-level agreement or guaranteed response time. We may perform maintenance, and features may change as the product evolves.

Intellectual property

WayHouse and its software, design, and branding belong to WayHouse, Inc. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your organization’s own operations while your account is active. You retain ownership of the content and data you put into WayHouse.

Termination and export

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate a workspace that violates these Terms or applicable law, with notice when reasonable. If your account is closed, we make export of your data available for a reasonable period afterward before it’s deleted — export what you need as soon as you can once you know you’re closing an account.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

WayHouse is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. We’ll update the effective date above when we do, and we’ll flag material changes to workspaces on the platform or by email.
